Dr. Jessica Weisser, previously Dr. Jessica Brodie, is a graduate of Florida State University, where she received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. Dr. Weisser received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in 2015, where she was involved with the Jewish Podiatric Medical Association and held the office of President for the Hispanic Podiatric Medical Association. At graduation, she was awarded the Dr. Bruce Weber Sports Medicine/Biomechanics Award for her research and excellence in Sports Medicine and Biomechanics.
Dr. Weisser completed her residency as Chief Resident of NYU Langone Hospitals in New York City after receiving extensive training in all facets of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with an emphasis on diabetic limb salvage and sports medicine. She also attended the prestigious Bako Dermatopathology mini-fellowship in Atlanta to better identify and treat skin lesions of the lower extremities. Since graduating, she has been working at Miami Foot Center in Little Havana were she has been treating patients of all ages in a bilingual setting. Dr. Brodie is fluent in English and Spanish. When she met her now husband she moved to join him in Broward county and is excited to be working and serving her new community much closer to home.
Dr. Weisser is committed to providing her patients with exceptional treatment and compassionate care. She is a strong patient advocate that takes the time to explain all causes and appropriate treatment options, including conservative medicine and surgical care. She takes pride in providing medical attention to those in need.
